Experience breathwork and Thai yoga bodywork as a beautiful integration in one evening at a great price...

Time & Location

17 Jul 2019, 17:30 – 21:30

Lotus Yoga, Kuzmányho 835/4, 811 06 Bratislava, Slovakia

About the event

The workshop consists of two parts. In the first part, we will use the power of our own breath  (breathwork) as an aid to self-knowledge and opening up. Letting go of barriers and inhibitions that prevent us from connecting with ourselves and others. In the second part, we will use the fact that we are more open and able to perceive ourselves and others using touch (Thai Yoga Bodywork).

Giving, receiving touch and sharing space is the art of living together.

This workshop is suitable not only for yoga instructors and movement arts instructors, but also for couples, friends,

parents and individuals who would like to unlock their potential of naturalness and intuition of touch.

At the workshop, we will show you and you can try yourself how to provide a massage not only at the basic level, but also

different variations of how to work with different structures and properties of the human body. We will teach you primarily

Thai massage techniques, how to direct the touch during the massage to relax the massaged and how to give

assisted stretches during massage.

There is closeness, trust and consideration, none

crossing the comfort zone of intimacy.

Breathwork

Breath therapy is a combination of the Alchemy of Breath therapeutic technique and the BBTRS - BioDynamic Breath and Trauma Release System technique. An hour-long dive into yourself using intense conscious connected breath accompanied by specially arranged music to support the entire process.

Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga Bodywork or, if you prefer, the art of Thai massage, is a technique that is not originally from Thailand (but

from India) and it is not a massage in the sense that most of us know it. A unique blend of assisted yoga, passive

stretching and acupressure technique is energetically more effective than other forms of massage. It's a bit like yoga without the work,

as the therapist moves and stretches you in a sequence of positions, usually on a mat on the floor. As much as

it also passes through different energy lines, emotional and physical relaxation occurs.

Thai massage is an ancient healing technique that uses acupressure as a means of relaxation

muscular, nervous and energetic or emotional tension. It is a combination of acupressure, reflexology and

physiotherapy with assisted yoga stretching. The massage takes place on a mat and in full comfortable clothing without the use of oils.

About us:

Marcel Nagy

I was a professional bartender and dedicated my life to serving others.

I got into yoga on the side of work with the need for better flexibility and relief from back pain, so I practice

yoga with the intention of better body functionality and stretching my muscles with the aim of relaxation and meditation.

My work in gastronomy and long hours of standing caused stiffness and shortening of the muscles and subsequent tenderness

for physical activity. While traveling in India, I used exercise and through proper

of muscle relaxation became an example for improving physical flexibility and strength, which inspired me to do more

study and own practice as a Thai massage therapist.

After my first course, I worked for four months as a massage therapist in an Ashram in Nepal. I am later

became a massage therapist and assistant at the School of Healing Arts in Mysore, India, living and working next to his

teacher in close cooperation.

Currently, in my work, I use the techniques of Thai yoga massage, but also Toksen, Japsen,

Guasha and more.

Kornélia Šrámková

I am dedicated to breath therapy and I am a breathwork facilitator and mentor to students of the Alchemy of Breath therapeutic technique school founded by Anthony Abbagnano. I am currently studying Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System under Giten Tonkov. I love movement, touch and music. Combining these three elements with the breath created a wonderful therapeutic alchemy that changed my life.
